The Definition of Mediation vs Arbitration

What We Do

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a non-binding, facilitated settlement negotiation.  There is no settlement unless all parties agree to the terms of the settlement.  Any settlement you agree to is binding like a contract.

What is Arbitration?

Arbitration is the reference of a dispute to an impartial third party, an “Arbitrator,” chosen by the parties who agree in advance to abide by the Arbitrator’s award after all sides are heard at the arbitration hearing.
